Location

From the excellent central location of the Hotel Pesaro Palace Venice on the Grand Canal in Cannaregio guests can easily reach prime tourist attractions such as the Rialto Bridge and Piazza San Marco, either on foot or by using the regular water bus or ‘Vaporetto’.

In the other direction, both the Santa Lucia Train Station and the Piazzale Roma bus terminals are also very easy to reach either by walking or on public transport.

From The Airport

You can choose between private taxis and public buses and waterbuses. We can organize a private taxi to pick You up from the airport to the hotel in just a 30-minute ride. Otherwise with the Alilaguna (for times please check http://www.alilaguna.it) to Fondamenta Nove, You will have to walk for 10 minutes to get to the hotel though. This option takes approximately 40 minutes. The last but easiest option is to get bus 05 to Piazzale Roma and then waterbus 01 to Ca’ D’oro which is just in front of us. This takes approximately 1 hour (30/ 40 mins by bus and 20 mins by waterbus).

By Car

Once you have crossed Ponte della Libertà you will arrive at Piazzale Roma (bus/car terminal). Here you can park in one of the two main big car parks; the San Marco Garage or the Comunale. Then cross the square (Piazzale Roma) to the waterbus-vaporetto stops. Take number 1 waterbus in the direction of Rialto-San Marco-Lido and get off at Ca’d’Oro station. The hotel is right before you.

By Train

The train will arrive at Santa Lucia train station. Go down the stairs to the right to the number 1 waterbus station. Take number 1 waterbus in the direction of Rialto-San Marco-Lido and get off at Ca’d’Oro station. The hotel is right before you.

From Santa Lucia Station

Most visitors to Venice arrive at either Santa Lucia Station (by direct link from Marco Polo Airport) or Piazzale Roma – the island’s bus terminal and main car park. From either starting point, the main water bus line takes you to the Cá d’Oro stop within minutes, though guests arriving at Santa Lucia may simply choose to walk to the hotel.

On Foot

The journey on foot is a 1 km straight line along Lista di Spagna, which turns into Rio Terá San Leonardo, then Rio Terá de la Madalena and finally Strada Nova. It’s advisable to get hold of a map of Venice before your arrival, as the intricate system of lanes, canals and small squares that make up this enigmatic city can be very difficult to navigate at first.

Water Taxi

Should you choose to take a water taxi, the Hotel Pesaro Palace Venice has its own dock on the Grand Canal, though a taxi all the way from Venice Marco Polo Airport with luggage may prove to be disappointingly expensive!
